The launch of CHS Alliance

People In Aid and HAP International are merging to form the CHS Alliance. Bringing together more than two decades of experience in quality, accountability and people management, the CHS Alliance will form one of the largest and most influential networks in the humanitarian and development sector.

The CHS Alliance will be a truly global enterprise, with a membership of more than 260 organisations headquartered in 55 capitals and operating in more than 160 countries worldwide. The Alliance will benefit from the reputations, legacies and successful working practices of HAP International and People In Aid, the two organisations merging to form the Alliance.

We have developed a new website offering members and other stakeholders of the Alliance an overview of the services provided, the opportunity to book events and training, and will be a platform to connect to members and through which members can connect with each other.

The website will, in due course, bring together the vast resource libraries of both HAP and People In Aid to create one of the internet's most comprehensive libraries of documents relating to quality, accountability and people management.

We will no longer post news updates on this website, so for future news on our activities please visit We welcome comments and suggestions from our stakeholders on content. Please email these to
